Shipping and Assembly Information | Maine Bunk Beds

When you shop with us, you don't have to worry about a thing. We guarantee a delivery between 8-12 weeks from the day the order is placed and we provide complete assembly and installation, free of cost. Find more details about our shipping, repair and return policies.

Shipping & Assembly

We want your order to arrive at its destination in perfect condition. We use a Maine-based "white glove" shipping service to deliver orders across the continental U.S.  White glove delivery includes assembly and placement of furniture in the room of your choice, and the removal of all packaging materials.

Delivery time is typically 8-12 weeks after an order is placed. This is an estimate and may change based on the shipping destination, seasonality and our order volume. Please understand that we cannot pinpoint an exact delivery date at the time of your order.

Our shipper will call you 3-5 days prior to delivery to schedule an appointment. You will need to confirm the delivery address and provide a daytime phone number where you can be reached on the delivery date. They typically need a 2-3 hour window of time to allow for traffic and logistics. The room space should be reasonably clear to allow the shipper to assemble and place the beds and furniture. The shipper does not disassemble existing furniture, dispose of unwanted furniture or remove old mattresses. You or your authorized representative must be available to accept delivery and inspect the furniture. Retain a signed copy of the delivery receipt for your records.

Contact us immediately if your furniture was damaged during shipment. Write "Damaged" on the delivery receipt with a brief explanation of the problem. You and the shipper need to retain matching copies. If you accept delivery and later notice damage to your furniture, we need to be contacted no later than 5 business days after receipt. We have a short window of time to file a freight claim for damaged goods. In most cases, we will schedule on-site repairs or make arrangements for an exchange, depending on the severity of the damage.
