When you shop with us, you don't have to worry about a thing. We guarantee a delivery between 8-12 weeks from the day the order is placed and we provide complete assembly and installation, free of cost. Find more details about our shipping, repair and return policies.
Shipping & Assembly
We want your order to arrive at its destination in perfect condition.
We ship across the continental US using a bonded shipping company. Beds are blanket-wrapped to best protect them during transit to your home. The shipper will carry the wrapped bed components into your home, place them in the room of your choice, and remove all blankets and packing materials. They do not assemble beds. We provide you with simple, detailed instructions for easy assembly.
The total shipping price is determined by the distance from Maine to your delivery destination. A surcharge will be added to your order as necessary for difficult delivery locations, including but not limited to:
Coastal islands requiring delivery by a ferry (Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Isleboro, etc.)
High rise buildings (Manhattan, etc.)
Hard to access locations requiring special vehicles or handling equipment.
Each order is custom built. The estimated delivery date is 8-12 weeks after an order is placed. The date may change depending on the shipping destination, seasonality and our order volume.
Our shipper will call you 2-4 days prior to the delivery date to schedule an appointment. You will need to confirm the delivery address and provide a phone number where you can be reached on the delivery date. The shipper typically needs one hour to place the unassembled furniture in the room of your choice and to clean up and remove all packaging materials. The room should have plenty of clear floor space for the shipper to lay out the bed components. The shipper will not disassemble any existing furniture, dispose of unwanted furniture or remove old mattresses.
You or your authorized representative must be available to accept delivery and inspect the furniture. Retain a signed copy of the delivery receipt for your records. If your furniture was damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately. Write "Damaged" on the delivery receipt with a brief explanation of the problem. You and the shipper need to retain matching copies of the receipt.
If you accept delivery and later notice damage to your furniture, we need to be contacted no more than 5 business days after the delivery date. We have limited time to file a freight claim for damaged goods. In most cases, we will schedule on-site repairs.
